Profile
Designing, implementing and maintaining test automation suite in a complex environment.

Extensive knowledge of a Software Development process using Agile Methodology

Ability to use architectural principals and best practices for maintainable test automation solution creation, define test automation goals, measure effectiveness of test automation, perform test automation tool evaluations and work effectively irrespective of test automation tool(s) and/or programming language(s) used.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop / Update Automation Test Strategy and define Test Plan for large scale, complex testing efforts
Develop and execute Automated Test Suite
Optimize manual vs automation test need
Have a good understanding to confirm test coverage
Collaborate and communicate with project stakeholders (Solutions Architects, Project Managers and Service Managers) to address risks by using data, experience and logical methods
Design and construct complex software systems (e.g. test automation fixtures, responders) that assist testers with testing activities
Provide guidance for testing systems or system components utilizing manual, black box and white box testing methods
Assist others in constructing, maintaining, and supporting test harnesses, test data generators and analysis tools

In-depth knowledge of:
Advanced skills with BDD and TDD
Advanced knowledge with Selenium
Advacned knowledge with JBehave, Cucumber, JUnit to develop test suite
Able to translate requirements from Jira User stories > Map to Java > Configure and Execute the automated test suite
Able to design test automation to test batch process.
Knowledge to automate all aspects using REST API to test service oriented architecture (SOA) system
Expert knowledge of Java programming language and software development concepts in a large scale environment
Common testing methods, testing tools (e.g., ALM), terminology and industry practices
Ability to align local goals and direction with IT vision, strategy and priorities
Advanced analytical, technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem solving skills
Negotiation skills and ability to influence others by educating and sharing information
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve goals and accomplish work
Coaching skills and ability to assist others in learning new technical and professional capabilities
Excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills with the ability to translate technical information into understandable terms to a variety of audiences
Presentation skills and ability to present information in various ways to meet audience needs
Uses a variety of techniques to demonstrate product expectations and prevent production problems
Stays current on emerging design patterns, software development concepts and industry best practices
Expert knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, Bash, Artifactory server, Sonar-Qube server, and Python etc..
